Alan Huard, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, July 12th, after a long illness.

Alan served in the US Army – 82nd Airborne Division. He was a truck driver for many years and a proud member of the Teamsters Union. Alan enjoyed traveling, especially around Central America. He told countless interesting stories about his extended time in Guatemala. Alan was an experienced healer, who specialized in reiki and led meditations. He was always there to help family, friends, and their loved ones. He will be greatly missed.

Alan is survived by his sisters, Gail Ruo and Sandra Wirtanen, his brother-in-law/dear friend, several nieces, a nephew, and his best dog friend, Daisy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Carole Huard, and his sisters, Tishie O’Connor and Cheryl Hopkins.

In lieu of flowers, Alan’s family asks that you donate to a charity of your choice in his memory. There will be no services at this time. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
