Alan D. Fairbrother,81,of North Brookfield, died on Friday, November 18,2022 in Umass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester surrounded by his family. Alan leaves his Wife of 55 years Jane Fairbrother ; a son Walter (Jim) Hayes of North Brookfield and a daughter Paula Coggeshall of Warren; siblings Richard Olson and Nancy Downey; 6 grandchildren, Eric Russin, Jamie Russin and David J Fairbrother of Worcester, Larry Coggeshall III of Charlton, Cassidy Coggeshall of Warren, Jonathan Hayes of Leicester; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews. He was predeceased a son David A. Fairbrother , a granddaughter Christina Russin and great-grandson Noah.He was born at home at 4 Pope Street in Spencer. Alan served almost 6 years in the US Army and worked for the Town of North Brookfield for many years until he retired.

Alan enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, walking, attending family gatherings, and took great pride in landscaping his yard.A Celebration of Alan’s Life will be held at a later date to be announced. Private burial with Military Honors will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
