Adeline (Testa) Bujnowski was taken home by our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, June 28, 2024. She was born on August 2, 1927, in Albano, Italy and was the cherished daughter of Virginio Testa and Maria (Ciocca) Testa. She grew up in Italy and France.
While in France, her home saw many members of the French Underground pass through during the German occupation of France. As the American soldiers took their place, Adeline met one of these soldiers, Stanley, and it was love at first sight. They married, and she immigrated to Worcester, Massachusetts. She became a proud American citizen and ultimately helped bring her parents and both brothers to the United States.
Her children and grandchildren were her greatest love. She continued to speak both the Italian and French languages and was pleased to have others practice with her. She was devoted to her faith in God and the Catholic Church.
At parties and weddings, she was the first on the dance floor and one of the last to leave. She liked taking walks, going to the beach, playing bocce, and watching tennis. Above all else, she loved her family.
Adeline is predeceased by her loving husband, Stanley W. Bujnowski Sr., as well as her brother Carlo Testa. She is survived by her six children: Michael S. Bujnowski and his wife Judith, Marie Heppenstall and her husband Ronald, Yvette Hardiman and her husband Dennis, Virginia McCarthy and her husband Kevin, Cheryl Blanchette and her husband Paul, and Stanley W. Bujnowski Jr. and his wife Jewel. She took great joy in her twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by her dear brother Toussaint “Sammy” Testa, as well as many nieces and nephews.
